A few kilometers away from Bibione stands Portogruaro, known as the “city of the arcades”. Born as a river port in the twelfth century, it is crossed by the river Lemene, on whose banks overlook ancient palaces in Venetian Gothic style.
Reachable by car in about 25 minutes, you can visit it on Thursday morning for the weekly market, one of the most beautiful in the area.
